Malaysia: Governor Honors Adventist Hospital President
Teddric Jon Mohr, president of Penang Adventist Hospital, received a unique "gift" recently when the governor of Penang state, Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas, turned 67. The governor conferred on Mohr an Order of Chivalry, given to those who have contributed unique and valuable services to the state and carries the honorific title of "Dato'".
Mohr got the news while still in the United States and, at the request of the Chief Minister's Office, made a special trip back to Penang to receive this honor.
Under Dato' Mohr's leadership the hospital provides world-class care with patients from all over the country as well as the United Kingdom, Singapore, Cambodia and Indonesia.
