World Church: Andreasen Continues as Andrews University President; Provost Position Created

Dr. Niels-Erik Andreasen will remain as president of Andrews University, the school's board of trustees announced Mar. 30. In addition, the trustees created a position of provost, equivalent to a chief operating officer for a business, and a search for that position will begin.

United States: Symposium Addresses Shared Jewish-Christian-Muslim Heritage

World Church: Adventist Mission Featured on New Quarterly DVD

Church members all over the Seventh-day Adventist church will able to see the work of Adventist missionaries worldwide through a free, quarterly DVD. The Office of Adventist Mission announced March 29 that the DVD is part of a new initiative that will be provided to local churches internationally. In addition to a wide distribution to churches in North America, the church's 13 regional offices will also receive the DVD, which they can adapt or distribute according to the needs of their area.

Germany: Media Center Foundation Stone Placed, Time Capsule Enclosed

World Church: Church Awards Professionals for Communicating a Life With Hope

Terry Benedict, Bradley Trevor Greive, Jaroslaw Wajk, Allen and Andrea Steele are masters at building bridges. No, they don't construct the physical structures that connect landmasses but, rather, they assemble the tenuous, fragile bridges of human relationships. World Church: Adventist Communicators Affirm Ethics, Professional Development

Seventh-day Adventist world church communication directors, representing each of the church's 13 global regions, voted to approve a statement of ethics for church communicators, a key conclusion of a five-day advisory session held March 20 to 24. The group also learned about a new certificate program for communicators, which is being developed by faculty at Andrews University and the world headquarters.
