In Kasese, Uganda, Rwenzururu King Charles Wesley Mumbere, right, gives his portrait for auction to Blasious Ruguri, president of the Adventist Church’s East-Central Africa division, at a fundraiser for the Kasese Better Living Centre. “The Adventist must be thanked greatly for their contribution towards education in the region especially in the rural area where many don’t desire to go,” he said in his speech at the event, which was attended by 1,500 people.
