Hope Channel - Update on Middle East programming

Apr 06, 2012

It’s been a year since the church’s official television network began broadcasting in North Africa and the Middle East. Carmen McMurdy has the update.

In February 2011 Hope Channel launched HC NAME, which stands for North Africa  Middle East.  We are happy to share what the positive results have been from nearly one year of broadcast.  Please understand that due to security concerns we cannot disclose specific details but one leader reported that fifteen people had come to the church this last year specifically from the Hope Channel broadcast, we have an incredible opportunity just now in this region and our station is doing very well.  In the coming months, steps will be taken to further strengthen this channel, we will be increasing production and adding a wider variety of contextualized programs and by God’s grace alone we will see much wider distribution.  Please continue to pray for God to bless this channel that is serving nearly 500 million people.

Have you watched our live programming yet?  Monday through Thursday, eight to ten PM eastern and pacific time, we have two live hours of programming.  Let’s pray from 8 to 9 PM in a featured bible study from nine to ten PM.  We are thrilled with the initial responses to our programs, every night the wave of responses keeps growing so be sure to tell your friends and get a special blessing for yourself.  Join us every evening for prayer and bible study here at Hope Channel, this is Carmen McMurdy for the Hope Channel update and I will see you next time.
