A redesigned and improved Web site has been launched by the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) International. Featuring what ADRA calls “a user-friendly layout,” the web site includes new information such as personal experience stories, answers to frequently asked questions, employment and internship opportunities, games and puzzles and more.
“The Web site has been designed with the user in mind,” says ADRA International webmaster Tina Hudgins. “We’ve made it simple for the user to interact with the site and to find the information that is he or she is looking for.”
The newly designed Web site, located at www.adra.org, includes first-hand information about ADRA’s work in the field, through both “Personal Experiences” and “Focus Country.” “Personal Experiences” reflects the experience of an ADRA International staff member or volunteer. A new personal experience story is uploaded each week. “Focus Country” provides more background information about a highlighted country and about ADRA’s work in that country.
“We hope the resulting insights will challenge the reader’s assumptions about how to be a Christian in today’s world,” says Hudgins. “Both of these pages are perfect to share at work, in the community or at church.” [ADRA/ANN Staff]
