Now let’s turn to Carmen McMurdy for this week’s update from Hope Channel, the church’s official television network.
Hope Channel operations in India continue despite the lack of electrical power for three weeks. In fact, Hope Channel’s Tanai-based studios produced almost 200 programs during this time by running on generator power thanks to the generosity of Hope Channel supporters. Hope Channel India has been operating for almost two years and as channel director Patrick Swoman S. Johnson explains, is uniquely effective in reaching people in that country.
Though media we can reach and teach. Television broadcast works in India very well. You know why? Because in India people like to watch tv. In India, every home will have a tv. Whether they have a home or not, they have their own tv. In some homes they’ll have 3 or 4 tvs. Mary Sunder is a Hope Channel viewer. She says the network is indeed meeting the needs of the Indian people and has a bright future.
This Hope TV India, that’s a wonderful service every spiritual needs of the soul. It is an extraordinary channel doing a wonderful job and in the near future it’s going to be outsmarting the other channels in the coming future. For Hope Channel, I’m Carmen McMurdy.
