    ADRA volunteers in the news

    In Argentina, the news agency Digital Territory reported January 18 about the work of ADRA volunteers Mirna and Anna Cesario, who have helped more than 400 children receive school supplies and toys in the Misono province along the border region. They plan to return later this year to help inaugurate two schools in the area.

    Protect and serve

    Country opening up

    Men lead a song service at a missionary conference in Yangon, Myanmar, on January 16. More than 100 missionaries from around the country attended the event, the first of its kind in the Southeast Asian nation.

    Foot-washing

    Chairs, buckets and towels are lined up for the foot-washing ceremony for employees of Montemorelos University in Mexico in mid-January. Pastor Samuel Schmidt spoke to employees on the preeminence of Jesus Christ during a special week of prayer.

    Southern Adventist University senior biology major Matthew Hollie helps paint a mural at the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States, on January 16. Many students and faculty volunteered in the community for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
