Attendees were also inspired by recent examples of women serving the need in their communities.

At the end of January, in the city of Ishim, Russia, a women's Bible Conference was held. The conference was conducted jointly by the sisters of Ishim and the villages of Timokhino, Bolshaya Sorokino and Golyshmanovo.

The event consisted of sermons, singing, poems, testimonies, spiritual meditation and prayer. The first part of the Sabbath service was dedicated to strengthening the relationship of Christian women with God.

"We talked about precious examples of female images in the Bible. Esther learned courage and determination, Abigail had wisdom and simplicity, Mary had obedience to the word of God, and what Naomi and Ruth wanted to see us with God's mother-in-law and sister-in-law,” said one of the organizers of the event.

Saturday's sermon was about Anna, the mother of Samuel, entitled, “Anna: the way to the Lord.” The thread through the sermon was that Christian women, of the 21st century can win when they come to the Lord with humility, despite their circumstances,  just as Anna did.

After dinner, the Bible conference continued its work. The second part was called "Here I am, send me!" with the devotionals, "This strange kind Samaritan woman" and "Jericho road." Each devotional touched the hearts of the sisters. It was Louise's story that really made an impact. Louis was a woman who devoted her whole life to the Lord, serving children and lonely, suffering women in her community. Sisters, inspired by this experience, began to share their experiences, trials and testimonies.

At the end of the conference, a call was made for re-consecration. Each sister felt spiritually uplifted and had confidence that the Lord will never leave her.
