Adventist Church in Italy launches "Tell the World" in Italian

Church leaders hope that each church member shows the film in their churches, small groups and homes.

Rome, Italy | Vincenzo Annunziata

The communication department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Italy has coordinated the distribution of mini-series “Tell the World” in Italian. “Dillo al Mondo,” which is “Tell the World” in Italian, will be available to watch in three ways:

·      a television series of six episodes that will air on Hope Channel Italia streamed online starting on October 6

·      a feature film available on Hope Channel Italia

·      six episodes which will be available on Hope Channel Italia on demand.

Based on true events, Tell the World shares the compelling story of a small group of farmers from the northeast region of the United States. They set the foundation of an organization that has been at the forefront of issues such as health, education, communication and Biblical interpretation.

Produced by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Australia, the series presents vivid details of the pain and joy experience by writer Ellen G. White, considered one of the 100 most influential people in American history by the Smithsonian Institute.

The Church in Italy chose October for the presentation of the film as a reminder of the “Great Disappointment” which took place on October 22, 1844.

The communication department in Italy is asking their church members to organize a showing in their local churches each Friday evening for 6 weeks, in their small groups or even in their homes.

Those who missed the online streaming on Friday night will be able to watch the episodes on Hope Channel Italia the following Sabbath morning and varies times during the week. The Church in Italy has invited Italian Seventh-day Adventists living abroad to promote it to their friends to help them understand who Adventists are and what we believe.

“Tell the World” was originally launched by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in October of 2016.
