Camporee held in Chile themed "In the Presence of God"

More than 1000 Pathfinders strengthened their personal relationship with Christ.

Panquehue, Chile | Esteban Cabrera

From December 7 through 10, in the town of Panquehue, Chile, the 22nd Pathfinder Camporee of the Chilean Pacific Mission was held in the Coquimbo and Valparaíso regions. The camporee was themed "In the Presence of God” and encouraged each Pathfinder to have a personal experience with God.

More than 1,000 people attended the programs and events that developed the areas in which a Pathfinder must live his life. Event special guest Pastor Mario Rebolledo was in charge of spiritual messages. Pastor Rebolledo works very closely with the Pathfinder ministry in Talca, Chile.

During the camporee, 22 Pathfinders said yes to Jesus and were baptized. Most significantly, Sabbath was very special because the baptisms took place in a neighborhood lagoon and those present witnessed how the Pathfinders gave their lives to Christ.

There were also contests for unpublished songs, public speaking, drama and knots, among others. The events were an important part of the Camporee and were divided into two categories: spiritual events that took place on Saturday and recreational events that were on Sunday.

We thank God that this event went smoothly, with joyous attendees who met God and friends.
