At the beginning of March in Yerevan, Armenia, an evangelical congress was held for three days. Evangelists, pastors, and church members from different parts of Armenia came to this meeting, burning with a great desire to acquire new knowledge and experience.
The meeting was opened by Vladimir Krupsky, the preacher responsible for the Church in Armenia and Georgia. He addressed those present with God's Word and encouraged everyone to be more diligent in spreading the gospel in these last days.
After this, the “Gospel on the Streets” program was provided. The essence of this program is that pastors place billboards on a crowded street and set up a table with books, studies, and Bible lessons. This should help spread the Gospel on a new scale in a wide variety of cities.
Hovsep Sahakyan, the executive secretary of the Armenian Mission, presented the topic of social evangelism, based on his own experience and results. He highlighted how to reach people's hearts using simple methods: by meeting their physical needs.
Vardan Grigoryan, the treasurer of the Armenian Mission, presented on the importance of prayer in evangelism, emphasizing that without prayer all our efforts are doomed to failure.
Gagik Badalyan, Armenian Mission president, presented on the need for friendly evangelism, arguing that this approach is the most effective method and anyone can do it, regardless of talent. He also talked about the organization and conduct of church services, how a well-organized worship service has a positive effect on those who come to church, arguing that this is also a special method of evangelism.
Then Zaven Gabrielyan, in charge of Adventist Mission and Media Ministries, presented the importance and effectiveness of digital evangelism.
He showed what results social networks and the Internet bring in the matter of evangelism, also presenting a variety of methods for digital evangelism.
Pastor Zaven showed the potential role of artificial intelligence in evangelism, as well as how it facilitates the spread of the gospel on the Internet.
At the end, he also presented the topic of how the gospel can be communicated to scientists and the intellectually advanced segment of society by presenting them with serious scientific materials on creationism.
The event concluded with a prayer of blessing, asking for God's guidance in the ministry and in the lives of the pastors present.
