On March 9, 2024, Adventists in Oklanda, Moldova celebrated an event that brought together many believers from across the Soroca region. The festive atmosphere of the meeting, the solemn baptism ceremony, and the inspiring sermon of Pastor Ilya Stepanovich Lyahu, head of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Moldova, warmed the hearts of all those present at this service.

Baptism, as a symbol of the covenant with the Lord, was especially exciting for two new converts, Vadim and Anna. Their joy, first love for the Lord, and living faith reminded witnesses of the importance of choosing the spiritual path and turning to Christ. After the baptisms, brother Vadim shared his story of conversion and appealed to everyone present to not hesitate in making a decision for Christ, but to surrender themselves into the hands of the Lord.

After a special address by Pastor Lyakhu, four more people came out to the call to take the same step of dedicating themselves to Jesus in the future.

The baptism in the village of Oklanda became not only a memorable event for the participants but also a symbol of the unity of the church.
